Windows Falls!! ... To Slightly Under 90% Share...

It looks like the fiasco that is Windows Vista and the Marketing Prowess of Apple are showing even more predominantly now. According to research firm Net Applications, Windows fell below the 90% market share threshold it's held for... well, for just about as long as people have been measuring market share for computer operating systems. Mac's OS X was up to a modest yet growing 8.9%, which does tend to point to people leaving Windows for OS X.
A few things to note about this survey, though. This information can be skewed as it's taken from data obtained when you visit certain websites. So, if Windows users are more likely to visit a certain site for some reason, it can skew their numbers higher for them. Also, since the data was collected over weekends, there may be a higher OS X user base as more people use their home computers other than their work computers, which are almost invariably Windows unless you work in highly specific industries.
What I really want to know is how many people have Macs at home though. I think numbers from work computers should be discounted because you don't get to choose what kind of system you get to use at work, it's just assigned to you. It should also be noted when Windows users move in with Mac users and are forced into willingly and excitedly learn to use Macs in order to keep the peace at home... I'm just throwing that out there...
Will Windows be able to turn it around with Windows 7? Will Apple finally show up to the ball and start grabbing some real market share and truly put some competition in the market? Is this kid of information completely irrelevant because they didn't bother to get my opinion on the tyranny of the absolutely friendly teachers that Mac users can be? I'm not sure, but in any case, we LGBTs win. Apple and Microsoft are both very pro-gay and both opposed the anti-marriage initiatives, so please feel free to spend wildly and with abandon on all their products... except MobileMe, because it blows... and, like, almost all of Windows Live, because it's useless.... But aside from that, spend away!

"Will Windows be able to turn it around with Windows 7?"
Please give me ANY company that has a 90% market share. I promise I won't complain.
