And it's come to pass: Circuit City has failed to find a buyer for its failing franchise, and has run out of options. The store chain is now being forced to liquidate the remaining 567 stores in the U.S.

While sad for all the employees of the store chain, as consumers, you might be able to find some good deals as the stores get desperate to unload their merchandise.

Just make sure to watch out for sneaky, badly done math on the "sale" stickers. The last round of Circuit City store closings had more than a few instances were prices were raised so they could be put on "sale" for higher than before.

I'll probably be passing by my local Circuit City to scope out any good deals.
