Rumorama: iPhone Nano Headed To China First?

The oft-rumored iPhone Nano may launch in China before it sees the light of day anywhere else - and some are speculating that it might be exclusive to the Chinese market.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and United Microelectronics Corp seem to be on course to make chips for the "low-cost entry-level" iPhone (a phrase which may explain why Apple might not release the device stateside, where it has an image to protect).

We hear that AT&T has not received any such device for testing, which shores up theories that the iPhone Nano is either headed to China or a figment of our imagination. Either way, you won't be playing with it any time soon.
