Windows 7 Shipping As Early As July?

Windows 7 may be coming earlier, rather than later, if the clues dropped by Microsoft are any indication. Firstly there's the Microsoft 7 Windows Upgrade Program, which kicks off on July 1, 2009. Then there are the beta notes for Windows 7, which state that after the Beta expires on August 1, 2009, "you'll need to reinstall a released version of Windows to keep using your computer."
Some believe that statement refers to a released version of Windows 7, although the words themselves are ambiguous.
Still, with Microsoft's past behavior with Vista's beta and the timing of these signs (after July 1 but before August 1), not to mention the urgency to replace Vista ASAP, it's no wonder that the techo-augurs are forecasting a speedy trot to market for Windows 7.
