17" MacBook Pro Delayed

Apple's telling customers who've bought its new 17" MacBook Pro that despite the order page's displayed lead time of 7 to 10 days, they should not expect their systems before February 19.

Apple's only allusion to the facts of the delay come from customer emails that say that "wrapping up the new 17-inch MacBook Pro is taking a few days longer than we projected," which was originally the end of January. But given the achingly long delay of Apple's recently updated in-hear headphones, I'm sure waiting a few extra weeks for a MBP is nothing...right?
