Gadget Of The Week: iPhone OS 3.0
With tomorrow's big iPhone event in Cupertino, we expect to see the newest version of the iPhone OS. What will the next big upgrade bring? We wouldn't be surprised to see an iPhone extension of the VoiceOver feature and/or an elaboration on the new Shuffle's voice interface. I'm still holding out for some universal cut'n'paste goodness, although Flash is still unlikely.

3D iPhone glasses. Why?
Interesting article about Flash, presenting a variety of obstacles that never occurred to me.
After Steve Jobs kicks the bucket, Apple will return to it's submissive state then Adobe will rule the world. Also, I think Voice Over technology is lame. Talking takes too much effort, and who wants to talk to their ipod/iphone in a silent room full of people? While jogging? Is it just me or does it seem really ill-conceived? Besides, by now I've paid Apple so much that I want an ipod shuffle to READ MY MIND. Vive Steve Jobs.
PS. As an expat living in France, voice over technology (when I'm calling customer service) can never decipher my american accent...is apple voice over indescriminate??
